3 things to do in the morning to start your day productive

From time to time, getting up in the morning can be a very hard thing to do. Most of us are guilty of pushing that snooze button on our smartphone over and over again, myself included. Starting your day in a productive way is very important. It gives you a sense of accomplishment, you feel good about yourself. Being productive from the moment you wake up, enhances your mood and mental health.

Easier said than done, I hear you say. Exactly, that’s why I will provide you with 3 tips that will help you start the day with a big fat BANG.

Morning Productivity

Keep it clean

Firstly, make up your bed. If you make up your bed first thing in the morning, you’ll have accomplished the first task of your day. It will give you a small sense of pride and it will encourage you to do another task, and another, and another … . By the end of the day, that one task completed, will have turned in many tasks completed. Making your bed will also reinforce the fact that little things in life matter. If you can't do the little things right, you will never do the big things right.  If you want to change the world, start off by making your bed.

Achieve it

Secondly, set goals for the next day. You need to know from the moment you go to bed, what your plans are for the next day. You need to wake up with a clear vision of what you want accomplish the next day. At the end of the day, you check whether you accomplished all of your goals and you set new goals for the next day. You will wake up with a clear plan, ready to kick ass.

Thirdly, time management is key. Put time in the things that matter, put time in those things you will benefit from on the long term. Keep your agenda close to you. Buy yourself a watch. Not just a watch, but a personalised watch, you are proud to wear. It will remember you of your time schedule, in a pleasing way. May we humbly suggest our own favourite time tracking device, our very own LESCAUT watch!
